Ce graduated from Sun Yat-sen University in June 2019 with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology. During his undergraduate study, he joined various courses, such as data structures and algorithms, artificial intelligence, software engineering, and so on, which all exposed him to diverse technology that is being applied in the information technology field. Also through on-campus activities, he has cultivated his interest in the financial technology industry. In July 2019, Ce joined the CCB Fintech Co, a financial technology subsidiary company from the top commercial bank in China.
In his over three years' work experience, he has gone deep in payment systems, customers' equity platforms, digital currency, and so on, and succeeded in the role of product manager and data analytics. He has witnessed and participated in how technology has transformed the traditional industries in a way that normal people might not notice. For example, he has co-invented a patent, Target information push method, device, storage medium, and process based on clustering algorithm, which aimed at improving the efficiency of services and product recommendation towards customers based on customers' behavior features. This patent has been applied last year in the intelligent payment project, and it has led to a noticeable increase in both transaction records and merchant revenues.
In his work, Ce demonstrated great interest and capacity in the financial technology industry and great enthusiasm towards further education in relevant fields for better business sense and technical knowledge. He is now pursuing his master's degree of science in information technology at Northwestern University. He hopes to deepen his understanding of the business sense and learn more about relevant technology skills. He hopes this experience could pave the path for his success in the future.
