Grand Prize for The Dow Sustainability Innovation student challenge awarded to IEMS PhD student Gokce Kahvecioglu

The Grand Prize for The Dow Sustainability Innovation student challenge has been awarded to IEMS PhD student Gokce Kahvecioglu.  The $10,000 Grand Prize is awarded to one Northwestern graduate student on the basis of innovative thinking, excellence in research, the potential of the research to solve significant problems and the use of interdisciplinary approaches.  Gokce’s proposal, focusing on renewable energy, is titled “Concentrated Solar Power Technology.” Read more about Dow’s 2025 Sustainability Goals here:  http://www.dow.com/en-us/science-and-sustainability/sustainability-reporting
