AI-Augmented Decision Systems Major (BE Degree)
Curriculum Requirements

Major Prerequisites (7-8 courses)

All students in the major will be required to complete coursework in the following areas. McCormick students will meet these through the distribution requirements of the BS in Engineering. Students from other schools pursuing AI-ADS as a second major will be required to fulfill these as preparation for courses in the major. Equivalent courses will be accepted without approval (e.g., MATH 230-1 for MATH 228-1).

  • MATH 220-1, 220-2, 228-1, 228-2
  • COMP_SCI 150 or GEN_ENG 150 Programming for Engineers
  • GEN_ENG 231 Probability & Statistics for Engineers, or IEMS 302 + 303, or MATH 314 + ECON 281
  • GEN_ENG 241 Linear Algebra for Engineers, or ES_APPM 245, or MATH 240
