David Platt is the Hu-Friedy Mfg. Co. vice president of engineering. Hu-Friedy is a world leader in dental instrument manufacturing. At Hu-Friedy, Platt focuses on project management. Platt has a consistent track record of penetrating new markets, gaining market share and increasing profits. He has experience overseeing single and multi-plant, domestic and international manufacturing environments. He demonstrates a talent in bringing new products to market with FDA 510k clearance and UL/ETL approvals, ahead of competition, at reduced cost of goods sold, and with effective product support. Platt practiced offshore sourcing in China, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia.
