David Platt is Senior Vice President of Manufacturing, Engineering, R&D, and Quality Assurance at HuFriedyGroup. HuFriedyGroup is a global manufacturer of dental and surgical instruments with 15 facilities worldwide. At HuFriedyGroup, Platt is a member of the Executive Leadership Team and leads global operations, engineering, R&D, QA/RA, procurement, and planning to drive innovation and efficiency. Platt has a consistent track record of penetrating new markets, gaining market share, and increasing profits. He has experience overseeing single and multi-plant, domestic, and international manufacturing environments. He demonstrates a talent in bringing new products to market with FDA 510k clearance and UL/ETL approvals, ahead of competition, at reduced cost of goods sold, and with effective product support. Additionally, Platt practiced offshore sourcing in China, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia.
