I’m originally from Nicosia, Cyprus, and studied Data Science through a joint program between Eindhoven University of Technology and Tilburg University in the Netherlands. During my final semester, I went on exchange to Lake Forest College in the U.S., which gave me a new perspective on working across cultures and disciplines.
Over the past year, I’ve been part of an NGO called Lumidata, where we publish weekly articles featuring professionals in the data world. We share their stories, career paths, and industry insights to help students and early-career data scientists better understand the field. I’m also currently working as a project manager’s assistant at an IT consulting company in Cyprus, where I’ve been learning what it really takes to run projects and manage client relationships. I've been in this company since I graduated high school, either as an intern during summers or as a part-time employee onlihne throughout my bachelor years.
I chose the MSIT program at Northwestern because I’m passionate about the space where technology meets business. While I love the technical side of data, I see myself growing into a leadership role, into someone who can connect both worlds and drive real impact through collaboration, communication, and smart use of technology.
