Varshaa has 2 years of work experience as a software developer in the Health Insurance industry. She pursued her undergraduate degree in Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University with a minor in Business Administration and graduated in 2023. During her time at CMU, she developed various web and mobile applications that are user-centered in various sectors such as education, healthcare and finance.

Beyond the classroom, she engaged in several leadership initiatives, actively participated in the student government as a financial advisor for organizations, was a vice president in the largest student-run organization, Activities Board and was an Orientation Leader in her schools First-year orientation program. She was also a teaching assistant for the course, Application Design and Development.
