The Jerome B. Cohen Commons Dining Room is open to all Northwestern faculty, staff, and engineering graduate students for lunchtime dining.  No children.

Cohen Commons will close for the summer following lunch service on Thursday, June 21. 

Over the summer, McCormick is working with Northwestern’s new food service vendor, Compass Group, to refresh the Cohen Commons experience. These changes are part of an overall transformation of food service across campus.

Lunchtime Reservations

Reservations are not required for individuals or small groups.

To reserve a dining area for groups of four or more, please make your reservation at least 48 hours in advance. Email cohen.commons@northwestern.edu or call 1-5550 to reserve a table.

Private Events

The Cohen Commons Space may be reserved for private events outside of normal lunch hours.

Payment Options

Lunch is $10 per person. Cohen Commons accepts cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or meal vouchers.

Price includes one pass through the buffet.  This includes one entrée, single servings of the side dishes, cold station items and dessert, and one cold and hot beverage.

Meal Vouchers

Meal vouchers can be obtained by e-mailing cohen.commons@northwestern.edu.

Please provide a chartstring and the number of vouchers you would like.  Please allow 48 hours to process your meal voucher request.
