Accenture's Shahid Ahmed Speaks at Northwestern Engineering's Professional Master's Graduation Ceremony
Accenture managing director Shahid Ahmed (MEM ’01) addressed graduates of Northwestern Engineering's professional master's programs on June 20 in the Ryan Family Auditorium in the Technological Institute. Ahmed, who holds nearly two decades of experience at Accenture helping telecommunications clients build new capabilities to drive growth, spoke about the importance of human relationships and physical connection and the power of getting out of the office.
“Even in the midst of seismic change and rapid technology innovation, the true heart of achievement is not digital,” Ahmed said. “It’s not technology. It’s human. The human connection, the strength of human bonds and personal relationships is the basis for much of what each of us will achieve in our lifetimes.”
