Andrew Melchor is a Lead Software Engineer with over 7 years of experience delivering full-stack, cloud-based solutions across multiple industries. After graduating from the University of Kansas in 2015, Andrew started as a Software Engineer for the biggest homeless service agency in California: People Assisting the Homeless (PATH). There, Andrew oversaw the software architecture and development of a web-based application that focused on affordable housing for people experiencing homelessness.

Since PATH, Andrew has evolved into a mission-driven technical leader that has not only delivered features and services for millions of users, but has mentored and empowered engineering teams to innovate while delivering critical roadmap items. As a current Lead Software Engineer, Andrew identifies as an “engineering generalist” who thoroughly enjoys the process of delivering products and solving technical challenges. Andrew's skills include Software Engineering and Architecture, System Design, and Product Development. Andrew joins Northwestern University as a part-time MSIT student whose interests include, but are not limited to, entrepreneurship, system design, and software engineering and management.
