Research Interests
Materials chemistry, processing and manufacturing
Materials processing, broadly defined as the physical and chemical means to tailor materials’ chemical and micro-structures for achieving desirable properties, is the enabling factor for all material applications. Our research interest is in the general area of materials chemistry, processing, and manufacturing. Currently we are working on the following materials systems.
1. Graphene based soft materials and other 2D materials
2. Organic nanostructures
3. Metal nanostructures
4. Conducting polymer nanostructures as a platform for education of materials science and nanoscience
