Pro Pop-Up: Tech Lobby Takeover
Bring your organization directly to students in the lobby of the Northwestern Tech Building. Pro Pop-Ups provide a casual, high-visibility opportunity to:
- Promote internships, co-ops, and full-time opportunities
- Increase brand awareness on campus
- Connect with students from targeted majors
- Share information about your organization and recruiting process

Information Sessions
Host an in-person or virtual information session to introduce students to your organization, culture, projects, and career opportunities.Information sessions are at no cost and ideal for:
- Recruiting for upcoming openings
- Building awareness of your organization
- Engaging with students before career fairs and interviews
- Showcasing technical projects and employee experiences
Interviewing
Northwestern Engineering supports both virtual and in-person interviewing for internship, co-op, and full-time positions. Interview schedules can be coordinated alongside career fairs or other recruiting events to maximize your campus visit. No cost options include preselect schedules or open sign-up schedules.

To optimize your travel, you can coordinate your interviewing schedule with any of our career fairs or register for McCormick Interview Days. The Tech Career Fair connects employers with Northwestern undergraduate, master's, PhD students, and alumni interested in careers across technology, engineering, and design. Organizations recruiting in areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, software engineering, data science, cybersecurity, robotics, UX/UI design, embedded systems, semiconductors, and related fields are encouraged to attend.

Student Org Partnerships: Roundtables & Panels
Roundtables & Panels are among Northwestern Engineering's most popular employer engagement opportunities.
These events are hosted in partnership with leading student organizations and provide employers with direct access to highly engaged students interested in specific industries and career paths.
These events typically attract 40–60 students and combine networking, industry insights, and recruiting conversations.

Mock Interviews
- Conduct a 30 minute behavioral Mock Interview with feedback at the end for students
- Create an appointment schedule for students to sign up
- A great way to meet students in a professional way to help them prepare for future interviews.
Hiring International Students
International students account for 23% of Northwestern’s full-time student population, and bring a wealth of talent and diverse perspectives to the organizations where they work.
Employers can hire Northwestern international students for internships under CPT (Curricular Practical Training) and for post-graduation roles under OPT (Optional Practical Training).
