MPM Connects Students with Industry Professionals

The program's Professional Development Seminar Series introduces students to more than a dozen experts from across the built environment sector.

The staff and administrators of Northwestern Engineering's Master of Project Management (MPM) program are firm believers that one of the best ways to learn about succeeding in the built environment sector is to hear from professionals in the field.

That is why MPM director Shelley Finnigan was so excited to line up speakers for the MPM Professional Development Seminar, a weekly series of talks from industry experts designed for MPM students and staff. Part of the core curriculum in the MPM program, the Professional Development seminar provides MPM students the opportunity to connect with individuals from a wide range of roles across the industry.

In the past academic year, topics of conversation ranged from personal tales and experiences to advice on succeeding professionally.
