Minghe Jiang graduated from East China University of Science and Technology with her B.S. in Information Display and Optoelectronic Technology in 2015. After much research and studying of electrical engineering, computer science, and physics in her undergraduate education, Minghe had developed a passion for modern technology. She hopes to leverage this passion to become a talented robotics engineer.

Minghe spent time as a researcher working on measuring the "director" of liquid crystals using laser interference — a director is a dimensionless unit vector representing the preferred orientation of molecules in a liquid crystal. During this research she successfully built a testing circuit capable of measuring this director. After this experience, she worked as a research team leader studying the absorption rate of high energetic ions to lower hybrid waves in a Tokamak. This work led to a successfully published paper in the Journal of Fusion Energy (DOI 10.1007/s10894-015-9965-9)

In the summers of 2012 and 2013, she completed professional internships in Hefei Zhongchen Light Industrial Machinery Co., Ltd. She was an assistant engineer dealing with the operation's of an enterprise information systems such as CRM, OA, and ERP.

Minghe is now a member of the MSR program and she is excited by the opportunity to gain advanced knowledge and practical experience working with robotics.
