Alan Hong

In 2014, Alan modelled and 3D-printed a rudimentary finger prosthesis for a friend. He later contributed the design to e-Nable, a global community of volunteers that develop open-source 3D-printed prosthetics. He has since been drawn to the prospect of utilizing technology to extend and overcome physical limitations.

Alan enjoys tackling problems in new ways and exploring the possibilities for engineering and robotics to enhance people and their lives.
