COMP_SCI 370: Computer Game Design

Prerequisites

COMP_SCI 214, plus at least one of COMP_SCI 322, COMP_SCI 343, COMP_SCI 348, or COMP_SCI 351

Description

Fundamentals of computer game design. Topics include: Plot, narrative and character, simulation for creating game worlds, AI for synthetic characters, tuning game play. Substantial programming and project work.

  • Approved for the Breadth Interfaces requirement in the CS curriculum.
  • This course satisfies the project requirement
