Description

In today’s competitive job market employers seek individuals who not only possess the threshold intellectual and technical capabilities but also a high degree of what has come to be known as emotional intelligence (EI). The goal of this course is to expand the notion of the NU difference by developing well-rounded, balanced graduates who are prepared to lead at all levels of an organization and engage in healthy relationships with self and others both personally and professionally. Students will be introduced to emotional intelligence theories and concepts; provided with practical tools for building skills in stress management, intrapersonal and interpersonal awareness, peak performance, resilience/adaptability, and general mood.
