Northwestern/Tel Aviv University Workshop
Recent Advances in Materials Science and Engineering
Northwestern University’s Evanston Campus
July 16-18, 2018
We are delighted to welcome you to the third Northwestern University/Tel-Aviv University (TAU) TAU workshop. This year the workshop is being held on Northwestern University’s Evanston campus and focuses on recent advances in materials science in engineering.
Our first joint workshop was held at Tel Aviv University in February of 2015 and was organized around the themes of semiconductors, electronic materials, thin films, and photonic materials. Our second joint workshop was held in September of 2016 on Northwestern University's Evanston campus and focused on energy, sustainability, and biomaterials with a sub-theme on water and materials.
The workshop’s goal is to build and strengthen existing close scientific and engineering interactions between faculty members in Northwestern’s McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science and the Iby and Aladar Fleischman Faculty of Engineering at Tel Aviv University (TAU). The workshop has already generated a number of ongoing collaborations among professors at both universities.
