Northwestern University Atomic and Nanoscale Characterization Experimental Center (NUANCE)
NUANCE offers instrumentation, techniques, and expertise for all characterization of materials and structures including electron microscopy, nano-indentation, and surface chemical analysis. NUANCE Center consists of three complementary facilities: EPIC, NIFTI, and Keck-II.
Northwestern University Micro/Nano Fabrication Facility (NUFAB)
NUFAB is an advanced micro/nano fabrication research facility that provides equipment for characterization, deposition, etching, ashing, and photolithography in a clean room environment. NUFAB supports research in MEMs/NEMs, nano-bio, nano/microelectronics, and other related areas.
Jerome B. Cohen X-Ray Diffraction Facility
The x-ray diffraction facility provides general-purpose x-ray equipment for diffraction and fluorescence studies including power, high-resolution, Laue, small angle, single-chrystal diffraction, and many other services.
