Welcome to the Computer Engineering Division
The computer engineering division in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Northwestern University is dedicated to preparing the next generation of computer engineers working in digital design, computer hardware and architecture, robotics, microprocessors, and software design.
At both the graduate and undergraduate levels, we train students to explore the interrelationships between hardware and software in a hands-on, interdisciplinary setting.
Faculty members and students have developed new ideas to achieve results in all aspects of computer engineering, including digital logic, electronic circuits, computer architecture, robotics, mobile systems, embedded systems, and parallel computing.
