I am Priyanka Aryal, a computer science professional with over 3 years of experience in programming and development. I graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead(MSUM), with a degree in Computer Science in 2019. During my time at MSUM, I was actively involved in several student organizations, including the Association of Computing Machinery(ACM) and Nepalese Student Association. I also founded an organization, along with my classmates, that taught local children how to code in Scratch and Python, which was a very successful and deeply rewarding experience.
While at MSUM, I served as a mentor for the STEM learning community and was a Learning Assistant for the Python programming class. During my senior year, I had the opportunity to intern at Border States Electric in Fargo, ND as a Developer intern. This experience allowed me to develop my skills in software engineering and web application development.
After graduation, I began working full time at Border States Electric as an integrations developer, where I further honed my skills in object-oriented programming and design. One of my proudest accomplishments was supervising a North Dakota State University Capstone project to develop an efficient Progressive Web Application (PWA) for the company.
I am deeply fascinated by the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) to make a positive impact on the world. Specifically, I am passionate about leveraging my skills and knowledge in AI to help underprivileged communities that may lack access to important resources and services.
I would like to integrate AI into autonomous systems has the potential to revolutionize the way we approach a range of problems, from disaster response to healthcare delivery. For example, by creating intelligent systems that can rapidly process large amounts of data, we could better identify areas that are at high risk for natural disasters and take proactive steps to mitigate their impact. Similarly, we could use AI to develop autonomous vehicles that can transport people and goods safely and efficiently, reducing the risk of accidents and saving lives.
Overall, I believe that AI has the power to transform our world for the better, and I am eager to contribute to this exciting field in any way that I can.
