During his time at MIT studying mechanical engineering, Marshall was fortunate to work closely with bright minds on innovative technology. Whether through designing integrated products together, networking amongst other engineers, or casually conversing in a dorm room, he was continually exposed to disciplines outside of his field. Marshall has always been interested in the overlap between various specialties and how different disciplines can complement each other. As he takes the next step in his engineering career, Marshall is eager to further explore the intimate connection between medicine and technology through the MSR program. Moving forward, Marshall hopes to pursue a career at the confluence of robot and human, focusing his efforts on biomedical applications to generate creative solutions to real-world healthcare challenges.
