Description

At the heart of materials science and engineering is the design and manipulation of materials at all length-scales, all the way down to atomic-scale. Thus, it is imperative to understand morphology, crystallography, structure, chemistry and electronic structure of materials and their phenomena, right upto atomic length-scales. This course is about introduction to advanced electron beam-based analytical techniques for analysis of materials at atomic and nanoscale.

Textbook: None required; recommended book is "Transmission Electron Microscopy" David B. Williams and C.Barry Carter Springer ISBN 978-0387765020
