Hurter Award Winners Announced

The Hurter Awards for Outstanding Academic Excellence have been announced. The best graduating senior award was presented to Ms. Josie Musen. The best first year graduate student award was shared by Ms. Yan Jiang and Mr. Lingfei Li. Each winner receives a certificate and a check for $500. The awards were established in 2002 in honor of Professor Arthur P. Hurter, who was the department chair from 1969 to 1989, and retired in 2001.
