EVENT DETAILS
The next seminar in the One McCormick Series, which seeks to build community and connectivity at Northwestern Engineering, focuses on the Personal Academic Tactical Help (PATH) program run by the Engineering Office of Personal Development.
We all can relate to the gap that too often forms between what we plan to do and what we get done, particularly when the stakes feel high. Understanding what causes our gaps allows us to fill them in intentionally, courageously, and productively.
The PATH program is both an online curriculum and a facilitated group forum that teaches McCormick School of Engineering undergraduates that their overall success is determined by the combination of how they think, how they feel, and what they do. PATH teaches strategies, tools, and concepts to cultivate the intentional attention, accurate awareness, and heathy connection necessary for reaching peak performance.
Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Engineering Joseph Holtgreive will share highlights of the PATH program, key lessons learned during its creation and implementation, and examples of how students are leveraging this program to reach their peak.
