Biography
An is currently a staff engineer and engineer manager at YouTube. She received her BS degree in computer science and math from the University of Maryland, summa cum laude. After completing her PhD study at Stanford, An joined Google in 2004. While at Google, An led and oversaw engineering development over a broad range of products, ranging in search, ads, and now YouTube Live. An will highlight two technically challenging problems from her tenure at Google - how they are challenging and why she chose to work on these problems. Via sharing her experience, An hopes to inspire and enable students to pursue their own interest and find peace and joy in life.
