EVENT DETAILS
The Internet enables easy connectivity and communication, resulting in more users, more devices, more traffic, more applications, and more user data. This growth comes with a set of challenges for the Internet such as the growing digital divide, the prevalence of untrustworthy information online, and the lack of data privacy. Nick Feamster, professor of computer science at Princeton University, will discuss how solutions to these problems aren't just the responsibility of Internet engineers but lie at the intersection of systems, networking, machine learning, and policy for the modern Internet.
