IEEE Honors Manijeh Razeghi with Life Membership

The award recognizes proof of her strong sustained commitment to her profession.

Prof. Manijeh Razeghi has been bestowed the honor of IEEE “Life” status membership. The award recognizes proof of her strong sustained commitment to her profession and is given to individuals in the association who have exhibited leadership, volunteerism and dedication to advancing technology for humanity. Life Member Status recognizes Razeghi’s outstanding achievements and research that have made a significant impact on the growth and development of IEEE.

Razeghi will help with the development of standards as well as hold leadership positions at all levels of the organization. Life members serve as reviewers, editors, and conference organizers.

The IEEE Life Members Fund (LMF) of the IEEE Foundation supports IEEE activities of interests to LMs, potential engineers, and engineering students. The designation Life Member is applicable only to a member who has reached the age of 65 years and who has been a member of IEEE (or one of its predecessor societies) for such a period that the sum of his/her age and his/her years of membership equals or exceeds 100 years.
