Mohsen Rezaei

EECS Ph.D. Student Mohsen Rezaei has been awarded a 2016 Optics and Photonics Education Scholarship in the amount of $2000, by SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics, for his potential contributions to the field of optics, photonics or related field.

Rezaei is currently a Research Assistant working in the Bio-inspired Sensors and Optoelectronics Laboratory (BiSOL) under Prof. Hooman Mohseni. His research interests include circuit modelling of plasmonic structures. He received his B.Sc. degree from the University of Tehran, in 2009 and the M. Sc. degree from the Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran in 2012. Rezaei was born in Hamedan, Iran. He loves Iranian traditional music and poetry, mountain climbing and camping.
