Post to the Jobs Board

The department’s job board serves to point our students and alumni to tech-related opportunities on the secure online McCormick jobs and internships database McCormickConnect.

If you are an employer and have a job or internship opening that is appropriate for undergraduate or graduate students or alumni in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science, we are happy to list it on our department’s jobs board as a service to our students and alumni. Before we can do so, you must first post the opportunity on the McCormickConnect database.

Follow this link to the Employer's Guide, which contains instructions on accessing McCormickConnect. Once they activate your profile/account, you can post positions, review resumes, register for events, etc.

Engineering Career Development McCormickConnect

Posting to the department's Jobs Board

If your opportunity isn't a good fit for either database, send a description of your job to and we will try to help. Info-sessions, on-campus interview dates, virtual fairs, hiring events, etc: We will help get the word out on other types of job-related events too. Just let us know!

After you've posted at one or both of these databases, send an email to with the job ID# and a brief title and job description (because we cannot access your posting on either database), and we will notify students of the department and alumni through our resources and social networks:

  • Jobs board
  • EECS weekly newsletter (published every Thursday afternoon during the academic year)
  • NU-EECS Facebook page
  • Twitter: #NUEECS

Your posting will be live for eight weeks by default, though you may specify a specific end-date, or renew at any time. Historically the links each receive 300-800+ hits in the first two weeks after posting. There is no charge for posting here.
