Zhang Receives 2016 Office of the Provost Award

The distinction was received in tandem with Prof. Elizabeth Gerber in recognition of creating a "pair research” platform for the university.

Prof. Haoqi Zhang has received a 2016 Office of the Provost Award for digital learning project funding.

Prof. Zhang was presented the award along with Prof. Elizabeth Gerber in recognition of creating a "pair research” platform for the university. Their Proposal was titled, "Pair Research: Matching People for Collaboration, Learning, and Productivity."

Prof. Zhang works alongside Prof. Gerber in the Delta Lab, an interdisciplinary research lab and design studio at Northwestern University, whose driving mission is to improve the way we design, work, learn, play, and fundamentally change the way we interact.

Provost Dan Linzer and the Faculty Distance Learning Workgroup requested proposals from Northwestern faculty for digital/online projects that enhance NU students’ learning through the innovative use of technologies, allow faculty and the University to experiment with innovative learning technologies, while showcasing NU faculty’s excellence in teaching and increasing NU’s visibility in digital and online teaching environments.
