Pappas & TrajcevskiProf. Thrasos Pappas and Prof. Goce Trajcevski are Co-Principal Investigators (Co-PIs) on a 4-year, $800K grant awarded by the Office on Naval Research for the project, "Cutset Sampling Topologies for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance."

The project is a joint effort with Prof. David Neuhoff, Professor of Electrical Engineering and Prof. Robert Dick, Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering, both from the EECS Department at the University of Michigan. The main thrust of the proposed research is towards developing novel, unconventional, and constraint-aware approaches for designing dynamic sensing structures that combine static and mobile sensors with distributed analysis algorithms -- to be used in missions involving heterogeneous data gathering tasks.
