Architectural Engineering and Design Students Visit Germany

Six Northwestern Architectural Engineering and Design students spent 5 days at the University of Stuttgart's Institute for Lightweight Structures and Conceptual Design, ILEK, for a hands-on experience in architectural design.  Gina Baldea, Guadelupe Gomez, Michael Hopkins (2016);  Bret Horin and Andrew Sonta (2015); and MS student Liying Li were joined by Clinical Professor David Corr and Lecturer Scott Cyphers at the Institute directed by Architect-Engineer Werner Sobek.  This is the third international design experience sponsored by the Architectural Engineering and Design Program.
