BME 495-0-24: Experimental Design and Measurement

The course covers introductory quantitative skills required to conduct experimental research and analyze resulting data. It draws on problems in biomedical engineering and covers topics in: (1) principles of measurement, (2) modeling of experimental data, and (3) design of experiments.

who takes it

This is a course designed primarily for graduate students and advanced undergraduates in biomedical engineering and science. The main objective of this course is for students to develop the basic skills needed for pursuing a career or an advanced degree involving experimental research. This course is approved as one of the three project requirement courses for BME non-thesis MS students and BS/MS students.​ (BME PhD students MUST take BME 407.)
