Xinhan Yan earned his bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Business Administration at Northeastern University. After graduation, he worked as an SDE and AI intern in Microsoft China for a year.

During his employment, Xinhan reviewed algorithms and papers of machine learning, especially in the field of facial recognition and knowledge graph relation prediction. He studied preliminary CV skills and kept working on model refinement to secure high precision in recognizing specific faces. He also implemented several knowledge graph models based on articles and texts.

While pursuing his master's degree at Northwestern, Xinhan wants to learn more about data mining techniques and hopefully become a data engineer in the future.
