2022-2023 Cohort

Shikher earned a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Vellore Institute of Technology. During that time, he enjoyed working on projects involving data-driven decision-making. In addition, he worked on creating a driver assistance system for his capstone project. After his third year of college, he interned at TCS, where he learned the skills necessary to work as a professional and how data science teams collaborate on end-to-end projects. 

Following his undergraduate, he joined HSBC as a Global Technology Graduate, working on HSBC UK's business banking and kinetic banking applications. To help visually impaired customers, he and his team built an AI virtual assistant that supported voice-based banking capabilities.   

At Northwestern, he hopes to accumulate sound knowledge and skills in AI. He is especially enthusiastic about employing multimodal machine learning systems in pursuit of his long-term career goal of developing solutions to improve accessibility for the disabled.
