Chris graduated from Northwestern University in June of 2017 with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences, a Minor in Psychology, and a certificate of completion from the Walter P. Murphy Cooperative Engineering Education Program. As an undergraduate he was a member of Tau Beta Pi and took part in various student leadership and mentor roles on campus. His interest in statistics began in high school which led him to pursue an Industrial Engineering degree where his interest in predictive analytics and data science was discovered through his coursework.

During his sophomore year Chris took time off and completed an 8-month Industrial Engineering co-op with the Walt Disney Company in Orlando, Florida. There he completed workforce hour analyses, maintenance cycle evaluations, provided transportation logistics solutions, and collaborated with advanced analytics departments to utilize big data for customer satisfaction. The following summer he interned with HP Inc. in Corvallis, Oregon as an Industrial Engineering intern supporting manufacturing. At HP, Chris spearheaded a cycle time investigative analysis and created a manufacturing forecasting tool that optimized cycle start times.

Chris is currently involved with a Northwestern Research team, providing simulations and analyses for the Chicago Marathon. He is most interested in predictive analytics, sports analytics, and humanitarian/social-good data work. He is incredibly excited to further expand his knowledge in data science and data storage, and is eager to strengthen his skills in the Master of Science in Analytics program here at Northwestern.
