Students are also able to, under the guidance and approval of academic advisors and the associate dean of undergraduate engineering, pursue an ad hoc combined studies program which will lead to a bachelor of science degree.

In addition, students can have multiple majors. Since each "major" results in a specific degree, double majoring within the school of engineering is actually called a dual-degree program. Students can also combine their engineering degree with a subject outside of McCormick. See the McCormick Highlights page for more details.
