Suhail has been interested in working on robots from his childhood, where he sought to develop automatic mechanical devices from simple designs to substitute robots for human workers, particularly in farming. He received a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering in Mahatma Gandhi University in India with the aim of becoming a professional roboticist.

After graduation, he started work at Infosys - a software developing MNC - as an Automation Engineer in the BOEING unit, and jumped at the chance to grow his nascent programming skills to a more advanced level so as to be able to create robots more effectively. He eventually became fluent in several programming languages, including C++ and C#.

Suhail is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Robotics at Northwestern University, with the aim to take advanced dynamics and artificial intelligence courses and merge these fields to create intelligent moving robots.
