Bruce Rittmann, John Evans Professor or Civil and Environmental Engineering, is elected to the National Academy of Engineering. Eleven McCormick faculty members have been named "highly cited authors" by the Institute for Scientific Information. Shawn Anthony, McCormick junior, is profiled as just one example of the many undergraduate recipients of research grants. In an effort to increase interdisciplinary cooperation, more than 200 academics gathered at NU for a series of talks. Julia P. Weertman, Walter P.
