The University-wide One Hundred and Fiftieth Annual Commencement Ceremony will take place on Friday, June 20, 2008 at Ryan Field. The Robert R. McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Sciences will hold its MS Recognition and PhD Hooding Ceremony in the morning, prior to the University-wide event.
To participate in the June Hooding Ceremony or Masters Recognition Ceremony, students must complete an online registration form that will be sent to them in spring 2008.
If you wish to participate in the June 2008 Commencement, you need to watch for announcements from The Graduate School. If you do not submit your PhD dissertation to The Graduate School by the university deadline but you would still like to participate in the Hooding Ceremony, then your advisor must submit an email to Dean Rich Lueptow indicating the date of the PhD thesis defense and a subsequent email indicating the outcome of the defense, which must occur before June 17, 2008.
