EECS Undergrad David Heydari Wins 1st Place at 2015 NDConnect Poster Session

EECS Undergraduate Student David Heydari (Senior, majoring in EE) won 1st Place & $3,000 in the 2015 NDConnect Poster Session at the Fifth Annual NDConnect undergraduate nanotechnology research competition for his project on “High-power quantum cascade lasers with angled cavities.”

The University of Notre Dame held a competition, including a poster session, tour, and awards dinner to recognize outstanding undergraduates in nanoscience and nanoengineering on Friday, October 23 in South Bend, IN. First Place 

David Heydari, who is a senior studying electrical engineering at Northwestern University. He is advised by Prof. Manijeh Razeghi.
