Graduate Student Highlights Professors

Professor David CorrProfessor David Corr is a clinical associate professor in Civil Engineering.  He’s interested in the structural integrity of buildings and evaluating their stability with sensors. Earlier in his career, he worked as a forensic engineer, investigating what caused buildings or other infrastructure projects to fail. In this episode, we talk about how monitoring can catch a failure in part of a bridge before it becomes a problem and about how forensic structural engineers investigate collapsed buildings and bridges.
