A native of San Francisco, Craig graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2009 with a major in Economics. He spent his free time during the school year volunteering with a campus faith organization and singing a cappella and his summers working in public accounting and internal audit.

After graduation, Craig worked in finance operations for Google Checkout where he tracked a variety of metrics including his team's email response time and the composite credit card processing fees. Craig then spent a few years in the financial statement audit practice at KPMG's San Francisco office where his primary responsibilities were the investments and debt of a public Fortune 25 commercial bank. After KPMG, Craig joined Legacy Venture, a philanthropic venture capital fund-of-funds as its first analyst, supporting the partners with investment due diligence and portfolio performance analysis. Most recently, Craig was a consulting analyst with The Croner Company where he worked on a variety of compensation projects covering industries such as media and high technology.

Craig has discovered a love for transforming seemingly unusable raw data into actionable insights during the course of his varied professional experience. Through the MSiA program, he hopes to gain the skills necessary to solve impossible problems by analyzing data at scale.
