After growing up in Wisconsin, Aron moved to the east coast to attend Dartmouth College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 2015. Majoring in both mathematics and economics modified with computer science, Aron specifically focused on statistics, financial mathematics, and the use of programming to analyze economic data with languages such as R.

After graduation, Aron moved to the San Francisco Bay Area to work as an Actuarial Analyst. He valuated and administrated many different qualified retirement and pension plans, calculated and reviewed numerous actuarial costs, and worked closely with investment institutions to allocate contributions and monitor trusts.

Aron is excited to continue his education in Northwestern University’s MSiA Program. He wants to expand his analytical tools and hone his problem solving and technical abilities so he can be better prepared to tackle real world problems. He is looking forward to being involved in data science while it’s such a rapidly growing field in a world where data is cheaper, more accessible, and more important than ever before.
