A native of the northern suburbs of Chicago, Bryce completed his undergraduate studies at Swarthmore College, graduating with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Statistics. During his time at Swarthmore, he was a four-year member of the varsity baseball team and held a variety of leadership roles in the campus’ chapter of Delta Upsilon Fraternity. He also furthered his undergraduate experience by spending a semester studying in Sydney, Australia.

Upon graduation, Bryce returned to Chicago to work as a Business Analyst for Personnel Staffing Group, a staffing firm headquartered north of the city. In his role, he was responsible for identifying and leading myriad initiatives to help foster a more data-driven culture across all departments in the organization. His projects included ad hoc analytics requests, process improvement initiatives, software implementations, and business intelligence solutions development. This work required him to build dashboards from scratch, communicate analytical findings and results to key stakeholders, and regularly monitor the work of project teams and third-party developers. Through these experiences, he fell in love with the capacity that data holds to produce clarity in the face of any business dilemma and foster more focused strategic planning.

Bryce is thrilled by the opportunity to augment his statistical knowledge and programming acumen at Northwestern’s MSiA program. Through coursework and collaboration with his colleagues in the program, he is eager to apply his analytical skills to cultivate data-driven solutions for organizations looking to further their progress on the cutting edge of predictive analytics.
